Participants Wanted For PTSD Study
As part of MFT’s mission to help educate patients and gain valuable information to do so, we support this observational study by the University of Toronto & the CAMH.
For the study, CAMH (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health) reached out to us for patient participation, specifically those who consume Medical Cannabis for PTSD.
This observational pilot study has the primary goal of determining the amount and ratio of selected cannabinoids in the samples of medicinal marijuana used by individuals with PTSD, and in the subjects’ blood. This will provide new knowledge of whether there are specific combinations of cannabinoids that are associated with therapeutic effects in PTSD.
We understand the more research that can be collected and shared on the therapeutic benefits of medical cannabis, the better.
If you would like to take part in the CAMH’s study and have the capability to drive to the study centre (250 College St., Toronto, ON M5T 1R8), please call 647 636 7625 and mention the “PTSD-Marijuana Study”. Please see the attached poster for more information.
